Senator Dick "JELLYFISH" Durbin is brave when standing behind a bank of microphones in GREECE. This is what, his ninth or tenth position on this issue? I've lost count. <BR/>On Dec. 9, before the ink was dry on the FEDERAL criminal complaint, and before BLAGO was even out on bail, he decided--on his own, wihtout apparently consulting ANYONE in Illinois--that a special election was the way to go. Then he thought it wasn't a good idea. Then he wouldn't support anyone BLAGO appointed. Then Roland Burris would have to answer tough questions. Then he was a fine citizen with whom he would be honored to serve. Now he's "tired of the Blagojevich burlesque"...Well, if he is fatigued by it, perhaps it's time to stop his own fan dance and go back to working on what really interests him: getting President OBAMA to commute former GOVERNOER GEORGE RYAN's sentence (as he asked President STUPID to do in November). Has anyone asked him how that inititave is working these days? Has he re-sent that letter to the NEW chief exectuive? Maybe Senator BURRIS could sign it too. Hmmm...In the stormy ethical seas of Illinois politics, he is a rocky outcrop made of lemon jell-obackdeckjeffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05818184948260344238noreply@blogger.com
