I think the notion of the "perfect bourbon" is a stretch (as the idea of that varies from person to person), but I admire their drive to understand these various influences. (They are a big operation with a big enough budget, one would imagine.) One at a time is going to take for freaking ever, particularly considering the eventual need to test the interaction of factors at various levels.
